Elections were yesterday. I feel that if I don't write something, I will burst. Have been sharing about elections on FB, but it's not enough.

We are recovering from the aftermath. But the general sentiment is "lain kali lah". Because history shows that change isn't free, it came at a price.

Race-based politics should be a thing of the past. BN has got to wake up from their daydreaming (as they have been doing so for the last 5 years) and stop sucking our economy dry. I give them until 2018, 2 years to the "developed nation" target to show whether they really mean what they say. Although I'm in Singapore, I cannot help but feel that this momentum has to be carried on. The hype, as per our usual Malaysian ways, will die down in a few days/weeks. We gotta stop the blame game, and take on some responsibility to change Malaysian thinking. No longer "Chinese this, Malay that, Indians are like what". Some form of Malaysian identity has to be moulded.

I was fairly disgusted by the way BN splashed our taxpayer money on their campaigns. It was a blatant, extravagant, corrupted use of power and money (which is not even rightfully theirs!) Ugh! Its like a gangster's turf war. The more posters I put up, the more I'm gonna win. WTF??!

We are Rakyat. This should be at the forefront of our minds in the years to come. I'm gonna have to go back to work now. Work and pray for the next 5 years.
